NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATION AND ACCESSIBILITY

 

Muskogee County EMS (MCEMS) complies with applicable Federal Civil rights laws and the General Services Administration’s (GSA) regulations and policies, and does not discriminate, exclude, or treat people differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity, or any other status protected by law. 

 

To assist with effective communication, Muskogee County EMS:

 

Provides free aids and services to people with disabilities such as:

  • Assistance obtaining a qualified sign language interpreter at the destination facility or as otherwise needed, and
  • Written information in other formats (e.g. large print, audio, assessible electronic formats, other formats) when specifically requested.

Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:

  •  Qualified interpreters via phone line, and
  • Information written in other languages when specifically requested

If you need these services, contact the MCEMS Compliance and Privacy Officer.

 

If you believe that MCEMS has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by law, you can file a grievance with:  Compliance and Privacy Officer, 200 Callahan, Muskogee, OK 74403. If you need help filing a grievance, the MCEMS Compliance and Privacy Officer is available to help you.
